Here’s a summer picture of the mist which sometimes hangs over the lake below our garden. I took this late at night in midsummer — maybe just before midnight, in July — I can tell from the very northerly extreme of the sunset. The blue shape at the bottom is just an Ikea hammock..
I’m much enjoying staring at this before bed. I wish I were in the Ikea hammock.
Yeah, me too. Right now the whole landscape is still grey and white (mostly white).
Since Ireland will be going back to barter in about the next fortnight, I’ve been looking at our minuscule back garden wondering how many pigs we could fatten on it. But now I don’t know… all these pictures of Norway… and goats… and sunshine and mist-shrouded lakes…
At the moment we’ve got mist-shrouded snow.
I’m all for the barter system, let’s cut out the middle man. My daughter’s dying to move to Ireland because of the horses.
