By this time, they have reached the top of the grass berm and are on the asphalted roof of the reservoir.
It has a good view, and goats seem to instinctively like to go to the tops of things.
And if your job is eating greenery, you might go to an asphalted place to take a break.
This was what happened next:
Vesla doesn’t usually start butting contests. I think she may have been asserting her right to the leaves I pick her when she can’t reach.

OK – where’s the promised evidence of her toughness?
Yeah, I’m sorry, Stuart. I got distracted today. I had to go shopping with my daughter and then we watched a film (Rachel Getting Married). Now it’s late. I’ll do it tomorrow, I promise.
One thing about Ves, though. We’re always on her side because she’s so small. But give her a choice: go with us or go with Holly & Misty? She’ll always go with them.
“Rachel Getting Married” – it’s on my DVD rental queue – any good?
It’s an intelligently-made film, with a bunch of good actors (& musicians) having a good time together with Jonathan Demme, rather like you get in, say, a Robert Altman film, but we didn’t like it — Alma & I. We couldn’t see the point. But it’s not awful, or anything.
