What do goats do when it rains?
Unlike horses and cows, goats seem quite put out by heavy rain.
They don’t dislike it as much as wind, but we don’t send them to work at the reservoir on a day like today.

I suppose that like most people they take a book and they lie on their bed, no?
Give them a book and they’ll eat it. They would rather be read to.
Do they really like being read to?
ps At this point I’d believe anything you told me about the goats.
I’ve never tried it. I wouldn’t be surprised if they liked it.
The dogs like television, though. The set is flat against an outside wall; if a dog comes on, they bark and rush outside to where the dog would be standing if the tv were a window.

The Goat Who Took on the Fed: WSJ’s Andy Jordan spends time in the Berkshires to see how locals make the case for “slow money” with their own local currency, “The Berkshare”
(If you don’t care about the currency thing, the goats are at the beginning and end of the story, which is pretty well done. I used to live in the Berkshires, and I support local currency.
)
As usual, goats on the cutting edge. They were very nice goats, too. I didn’t know about local currency, I always assumed that was in some way against the law. I’l start designing my own tomorrow.
And then there’s Berkshire Hathaway.
